Thirsty Thursday | Strawberry Mint Bourbon SMASH

Our High Spirits Beverage Company team recently went to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail to kick off 2016 and needless to say, we continue to reminisce over the cocktails we tasted and our time their overall.  A trip like this means that we OF COURSE wanted to add some killer custom cocktails to our Signature Drink options and this one we could not wait to share. Plus, with the Derby races around the corner, we felt that this drink could be the newest drink of choice when watching the races. 

Strawberry Mint Bourbon SMASH

Ingredients

• Muddled sugar, strawberries and mint
• 1.25 oz Bourbon
• .75 oz St. Germain
• Dash of bitters
• Topped with Ginger Ale
• Garnish with mint and a strawberry

Directions

• Muddle sugar, strawberries and mint in bottom of a rocks glass
• Pour Bourbon and St. Germain over ice in rocks glass and stir
• Add a dash of bitters and top with ginger ale
• Garnish with mint leaves and a strawberry (or slices!) and #CHEERS
