I’m definitely not a vodka connoisseur. I love it’s nearly tasteless quality in a well-made cocktail, but when I’m mixing at home I usually end up with stragglers of the cheapest brands in plastic bottles that sit on my bar cart for weeks on end and remind me all too much of nail polish remover. When we have new interns in the office, we always explain our roles to them by saying that "we wear many hats". By this we mean that our sales manager is also handling human resources responsibilities. It also means that the business owner is swamped with bookkeeping while also trying to maintain the "big picture" of company growth. As a small company, full time employees take on a lot of tasks even if they're not in the official job description. As 2014 came to a close, we were lucky enough to hire Bethany Carter, a hospitality expert and new office manager to the Liquid Catering team.
