HIRED: Office Manager, Bethany Carter!

When we have new interns in the office, we always explain our roles to them by saying that "we wear many hats". By this we mean that our sales manager is also handling human resources responsibilities. It also means that the business owner is swamped with bookkeeping while also trying to maintain the "big picture" of company growth. As a small company, full time employees take on a lot of tasks even if they're not in the official job description. As 2014 came to a close, we were lucky enough to hire Bethany Carter, a hospitality expert and new office manager to the Liquid Catering team.

Bethany is already helping us make 2015 an awesome year. She not only tackles our bookkeeping and human resources but also manages staff scheduling, daily operations, and general event support...and whatever else pops up! While originally from Rochester, New York, Bethany has lived in Greenville for nearly 20 years. She has worked in the hospitality industry for 16 years making her a key asset to our growing Liquid Catering family. Bethany started as a host at Olive Garden and quickly made her way up to District Trainer. However, restaurant group Table 301 drew her in soon after where she worked in numerous positions from bartender to restaurant manager. Bethany also developed her skills working special events with Table 301. We can't wait for Euphoria this year--Bethany has experience volunteering at Jazz Brunch for the last seven years.

In her free time, Bethany enjoys spending time with her wonderful 11-year-old daughter as well as running and working out. We're so excited to have her on our team...look out 2015!
