Thirsty Thursday: City Scape Wines

Following the Spring Sip and Shop event at Haywood Mall, the Liquid Catering team has continued to serve the refreshing City Scape wines for couples' spring weddings.

Producing locally made bottles of wine, in the scenic countryside of lower Greenville County, City Scape Winery is becoming a sought-after wine during Liquid Catering's events.

Most recently, a bride requested the Raspberry White Zinfandel for her April 30th wedding. She wasn't the first - many guests and couples alike are fans of the lighter, sweeter white wines for cocktail hours outdoors. Some consider the Pineapple Reisling or the Green Apple Gewurz. The Uptown White Pinot Grigio is another great choice - full bodied with hints of citrus fruits and peaches.

Can you see a pattern? City Scape Winery, located locally in Greenville, utilizes notes of fruit in all of their wines. They even created a Blackberry Merlot, which is profiled as a smooth oak finish and pairs well with lamb, steak or sausage. For the classic red wine lovers, the Carolina Nights muscadine wine is a semi-sweet red that's perfect as the base of a sangria or to enjoy on its own.
