Special Event | Sapphire Nights 5 Year Celebration

The start of 2016 was a big deal for our staff as it kicked off celebrating 5 years of business! Started in January 2011 by Tammy Johnson, Liquid Catering has grown exponentially in just five years. What better way to celebrate five years of hard work, success, and delicious drinks than with a party? 

Over the course of a few weeks, our staff worked tirelessly to make sure that Sapphire Nights would be an occasion to remember. Though organized by Liquid Catering staff, the event would not have been possible with out the support of our very generous sponsors for the night.

Our celebration kicked off at 6:30 as guests began arriving at The Old Cigar Warehouse. Greeted immediately by coffee and cordials from Bex Café along with our signature drink, Liquid Sapphire, guests had a variety of different foods and drinks to choose from as caterers, bakers and two Liquid Catering bars were placed throughout the space. Music from The Erica Berg Collective drifted from the Main Hall onto the deck where guests entered, welcoming the guest to the celebration. Inside of Old Cigar Warehouse, modern white couches were situated in the Main Hall for guests to take time to chat together comfortably while farmhouse cocktail tables and silver chiavari bar stools provided an easier way to move around from group to group - all provided by Professional Party Rentals. Liquid Catering bartenders served complimentary beer, wine, champagne, and top shelf liquor for the entire celebration!

The party continued in the Cellar where guests experienced Saffrons, Nard's Backyard BBQ, Traveling Peddler, Good Life Catering, Table301, and Holmes Catering while also having access to our beautifully lit bar - lit in a sapphire color, of course! Renee Burroughs Design created a stunning hanging centerpiece that was complimented by smaller floral centerpieces and décor throughout the entire space. Farmhouse tables at cocktail height provided a unique way for guests to sit (or stand!) while mingling with other guests and enjoying the food and drink.

Throughout the night, guests enjoyed the photo booth provided by ShutterBooth who created photo strips designed specifically for our anniversary event! In addition to the Photo Booth, Dark Corner Distillery helped keep the party going by giving samples of their locally made whiskey. As people took photos, tasted delicious drinks, and ate mouthwatering desert provided by Holly's Cakes and Couture Cakes of Greenville, the Erica Berg Collective made sure that the dance floor was filled with people having a great time. While the party continued throughout The Old Cigar Warehouse, FamZing Photography & Video captured amazing photos and videos of our guests celebrating all night!

Did we mention that we had an ice skating rink? It was a perfect night to skate under the stars and it was made possible by our friends at Endinburgh West & Wedding Festivals! The portable rink was set up on the deck at The Old Cigar Warehouse for guests to use throughout the night.

One of the highlights of the night was hearing from Liquid Catering's founder and owner, Tammy Johnson, on the transformation of her company over the last five years. The story of Liquid Catering's growth from a business in the back of her house to being an award winning company is truly inspirational.
