Meet the Intern

We are so excited to welcome Kyle to the Liquid Catering team this Fall! Read on to learn a bit more about the new intern and hear what he is looking forward to!

A few fun facts about Kyle:

• I am finishing my BA in Communications this December!
• I have been happily married to my high school sweetheart since July 2015!
• I have worked in the Hospitality industry as well as F&B for almost seven years!
• I have served over 400 couples on their special day through banquets at Old Edwards Inn, The Westin Poinsett Hotel, and Larkin’s on the River!
• I LOVE photography!
• I have hiked Maccu Piccu in TOMS!
• I have lived in Florida, Texas, North Carolina, and now I call Greenville, South Carolina home!
• My great-great grandfather was in immigrant from Florence, Italy!

 
We also asked Kyle to tell us what he thought of his first day in the internship and what he is looking forward to for the rest of the time he has left with us this fall: 
 
As an operations intern with High Spirits Hospitality I hope to expand my experience in the hospitality industry and in event management. You can never stop learning in this industry because every event, customer and guest is different. As I was looking for an internship in Greenville, I was in high hopes that I would take part in a company that is innovative, different, and fun; and this is exactly what High Spirits has proven to be! When I started researching our company I found nothing but great reviews. At first I thought, “WOW!” when I found out that High Spirits also manages the beautiful Old Cigar Warehouse in the West End of downtown Greenville. But when I found out that we they also provided private even security through Bravo 1, in addition to the renown catering service through Liquid Catering, I was instantly hooked.
I am looking forward to experiencing how a company with many moving parts performs behind the scenes as well as learning how a great company is built. I can only hope that as an intern in this company I can help advance the growth, fun, and service of others as I continue to learn more and more about event operations and the Hospitality field.
