Liquid Tips | Picking Your Bar Selections

It's no secret that a special event bar is one of the main pieces of any event. No matter if it's a corporate function, your wedding, or a private party, your bar is very important. With so many selections to choose from and your guests' differing preferences, it can be difficult to decide what to include in when it comes to your package. 

The Basics

When it comes to the basics in your package, we like to think of what are tried and true classics. That's why almost all of our packages include domestics like Bud Light and Yuengling with some including Michelob Ultra as well. Of course throwing on some more craft varieties and premium brands are totally do-able, having recognizable names for your guests is very important. Keeping it classic will ensure that everyone can have something that they've tried or at least heard of.

Choosing wines may seem a bit more difficult, especially when there are so many different types to enjoy! We know that everyone usually has a preference: white or red, sweet or dry. Almost all of our packages include 3 or 4 wine choices, allowing you to give guests plenty of options.

Don't know which whites or reds to choose? When getting a house wine or a brand that you're not familiar with, Cabernet Sauvignon is usually your best go-to for red and Pinot Grigio is a classic white selection. These both are well-rounded enough to please anyone. Just ask your Liquid Catering sales rep for further recommendations on how to appease lots of sweet wine drinkers, experienced drinks, etc!

Staying Local

Another thing to think about when picking your bar package is location. Are most of your guests traveling from out of town? If so, you may want to consider having a local presence in your bar package.  Showcase your wedding location by choosing beers and wines from local breweries and wineries! There's nothing better than putting the best that your area has to offer on display by offering selections from local companies--something that our Everything Local package can help with!
